Tim Hollingsworth

Vice President of Operations

Tim joined Sun Country Industries as Controller and New Part Introduction Program Manager in 2012, and was promoted to Vice President of Operations in 2013, reporting to the General Manager.  Tim assumed full leadership responsibility of Sun Country Industries’ operations in September 2016 upon the retirement of the GM and the acquisition of Sun Country Industries by its current owners.  Tim’s responsibilities include machining, purchasing, engineering, supply chain management, contract administration, sales/marketing, and accounting.  Tim has accomplished the following key initiatives in the past twelve months: consolidated operations from three to two facilities, won new parts on the LEAP engine, and accomplished other important organizational objectives, including improved inventory management processes and heightened focused on KPIs.  Tim holds a BS and an MBA from Liberty University, each with a focus on accounting.

Dan Schroeder

Vice President of Quality Assurance

Dan has extensive operations and quality experience in management positions including plant manager, vice president and chief operating officer in various high tech industries. Dan has managed organizations with responsibility for manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, quality, purchasing and supply chain management. His MS in Physics from University of Wisconsin, MBA from Texas Tech and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt combined with his prior management experience provides a strong analytical approach to problem solving and to his continuous improvement philosophy. Dan’s leadership style uses the unique talents of the employees while maintaining high expectations for himself and his team to exceed expectations of the customer and the company.

Ruben Aragon

Production Manager

Ruben has twenty-five years of experience in the aerospace industry, primarily in supply chain management, and has been with Sun Country for 8 years. As Production Manager Ruben is responsible for carrying out the daily operational needs of our complex aerospace environment.  Ruben has a BA from Harris University and is a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. Ruben is known as a take-action person able to initiate and make tough decisions while leading and building a cohesive unit of diverse people. His ongoing success in the industry has been built on confidence, competence and his loyalty as team player willing to act when people, projects and profits require leadership, management and growth.

Joe Banik

Senior Technical Specialist

Joe Banik has over 35 years of experience in aerospace and defense manufacturing. He has held positions as Manager of Experimental Manufacturing with Airfoil Textron, Manufacturing Engineering Manager with ITT Goulds Pumps and Team Leader / Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor at General Dynamics Land Systems. He was awarded Manufacturing Engineer of year by SME for his innovative approach for tooling used to chemically mill airfoils (ECM). Joe was also awarded Engineer of the year by ITT for his developing of a process to EDM impellors. He is a certified Lean Lead and a six sigma green belt. Joe has degrees in Toolmaking Technology and Manufacturing Engineering from the Williamsport Area Community College where he also held the position of assistant professor. Joe is an avid outdoorsman and has designed and manufactured a number of fly fishing reels that are currently on the market today.
